Legends of the Knight

Hey friends! We’re puttin’ on a movie!

Recently I was listening to one of the many podcasts that occupy my ears each week, Word Balloon w/ John Siuntres. He interviewed a filmmaker by the name of Brett Culp. To be completely honest, I had never heard of the guy. Typically, John talks to people from the comic book community, so having this random movie guy on there was weird. But I was intrigued once I heard why Brett Culp was on there: Legends of the Knight.

(Go listen to the interview. It’s much more interesting than having me re-cap it here.)

After listening to the episode, I looked up the trailer for Legend of the Knight. It moved me. I wanted to see it. Not in the way that I want to see Guardians of the Galaxy or the next Avengers flick, though. It was a much deeper feeling. There were stories being told in this film that focused on hope and faith. I just kept telling myself, “I have to see this!”

Luckily, I learned that I could try and get a screening of the movie at our local theater. Unfortunately, as I said, the showing will only be in Kokomo, where David, Mike and I record the podcast. I really wish we could get it to everyone all at once! But, I do have a huge favor to those of you who live close to us:

Get a ticket and come to the screening.

All of the information can be found by going to this event page. Be sure to spread the word about the film, too!
